Top 10 Pieces of Stationery for School πŸŽ’ ✏️

The end of the summer holidays is never the most fun time of the year, but buying new stationery can make it a lot more exciting! If you’re looking for some cute and practical but cheap stationery for the back-to-school season, then take a look at this list.

1.  Stabilo Boss Original Highlighters

£3.99

These highlighters are some of the best I’ve ever used! They come in an impressive 23 different colours (fluorescent and pastel), and can be bought in backs of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 23. The ink is compatible with most pens (however they can smudge if you’re using gel pens). The design is comfortable to hold, and the tip is very resilient- I’ve been using mine for over a year and they’re still going strong! They are sold on Amazon and in many stationery shops.

2.  Pineapple Folding Ruler/ Protractor

£4.95

When you think of a ruler, this pineapple themed one probably won’t be the first one to come to mind! Most schools require 30cm rulers, but these can be a struggle to fit in a pencil case. Folding rulers are quite self explanatory- the fold into a 15cm ruler for easy storage. I love the quirky pineapple design on this, and as a bonus it doubles as a protractor!

3.  Swordfish Eraser/ Sharpener Combo

£3.20

This handy eraser/ sharpener combo is perfect for when you’re in a hurry, or don’t want to have two separate pieces of stationery. I always find it annoying having to search my pencil case for an eraser and sharpener, so this is really useful! It comes in pink, black and blue, and the sharpener doesn’t shed so you can use it anywhere. The eraser is a generous size, and overall o really recommend this product!

4.  EASTHILL Fold Out Pencil Case

14.99

Although this is one of the pricier items on the list, if you want  your stationery to be organised and easy to find then this pencil case is great! It has three main sections to keep pens, pencils and other stationery, and zips up into a small, compact case which can slip into your bag. It comes in four colours- blue, orange, pink and black, and is available on Amazon.

5.  Paperchase 5 Subject Notebook

£8.00

Subject notebooks are brilliant as they mean you only have to carry around one notebook, but can still have a different space for each subject. In my opinion, Paperchase make the best subject notebooks and this is my favourite! I really like how there are different types of paper in each section (i.e. lined, graph and plain), and I love the pastel colours!

6.  Zebra Mildliner Brush Pen Felt Tip Duo

£20.45 for pack of 3 (however you can get individual packs for much cheaper)

These aren’t really essentials, but they make studying and taking notes a lot more fun! On one end is a marker, which can be used for so many different things, and on the other end is a brush pen. The brush pen is quite stiff, so might be better for beginners to calligraphy than more experienced calligraphers, but the tip becomes more flexible over time. The ink doesn’t bleed through paper too much, and comes in really pretty colours. They come in wallets of 5, 10 and 15.

Remember, school isn’t just about having cute stationery, so good luck this year! Let me know if you have more recommendations in the comments!
